Troubadour Theatre offers workshops, storytelling, training, creative ideas and facilitation.

TROUBADOUR THEATRE is able to provide advice and expertise as well as training and workshops and help with planning in the following areas:

  • Using drama and arts to develop projects and programmes
  • Creative team building sessions
  • Applying storytelling techniques to improve communication and engagement
  • Training in using drama techniques to teach across the curriculum
  • Developing guided walks and talks
  • Devising Live Interpretation and Living History
  • Increasing confidence through drama and storytelling

Troubadour Theatre is managed by Laura Hetherington. Laura has over 20 years experience of education, interpretation and learning at grass roots and strategic levels, As Head of Learning for the National Trust Laura oversaw the delivery of innovative approaches to learning across the organisation, developed their far-sighted Vision for Learning, developed their Contemporary Arts and Arts Education policies, devised interpretation strategies and led on education policy.

Laura is a trained drama-in-education specialist and has taught drama to all ages, used drama techniques to facilitate learning and team building and directed theatre in education and participatory children’s theatre.
